The annual Plowing Festival is held in early June at Longji Rice Terraces of Ping'an Village of Longsheng County, Guangxi. Every year around the period of Grain in Ear (one of China's traditional solar terms in early June), an annual ceremony is held to mark the beginning of plowing and pray for good harvest. You may not only enjoy the spectacular view of large-scale plowing and rice transplanting of the local people but also experience a series of colorful activities including playing tag-of-war, catching fish in the terraces and taking part in the large-scale bonfire party.
