Impression of Sanyjie Liu (印象刘三姐) is a must-see show for visitors to Yangshuo and it is a performance like you have never seen or experienced before.

The stunning natural scenery forms an amazing natural theater for this famous light show + cultural performance - The 2km of Li River set the stage and a dozen beautifully lit karst peaks form a natural backdrop. The unsophisticated songs, classical dance, obscure peaks and moving refection in the water are perfectly merged, vitalizing life into the landscape and thus giving infinite enjoyment to eyes and ears. It has a cast of over 600 locals, mainly from the Zhuang minority, including farmers, fishermen and young girls, who are singing and performing simultaneously in a show that looks different each time as mist, rain and moonlight naturally alter the set of the stage.

This show is a creation of Mr. Zhang Yi Mou, who is also the director the impressive opening ceremony for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Since its debut in 2004, this show has been on for more than 10 years.
